Check-in
Your room will normally be available from 2pm on the day of arrival. You are of course very welcome to arrive early, and perhaps enjoy a spot of lunch, a coffee or a cream tea. Please let us know if you expect to arrive after 10pm.
We would ask that rooms are vacated by 11am on the day of departure. You are welcome to leave your car in our car park if you would like to enjoy a final walk before you head off.
The Restaurant
We serve a Full English breakfast from 8am until 9:30am Monday to Friday, and until 10am at weekends.
Dinner is served from 7pm. If you have booked a dinner, bed and breakfast rate we will automatically reserve a table for you. Guests staying on a bed and breakfast rate are of course also very welcome to dine in the restaurant – you can book a table in advance, or simply let us know when you are here.
Dogs
Please do feel free to bring your dog with you (although of course they are not allowed in the restaurant). The charge is £7.00 for one dog, and £10.00 for two or more, per room, per night. You will need to make your own arrangements for feeding. For more information on facilities for canine companions visit www.millendhotel.com/dog-friendly
Children
Children are welcome at Mill End, but please do let us know if you have any specific requirements. Children (under 16) are charged at £15.00 per night when sharing a room with two adults. Meals are charged as taken. Although children are welcome to dine in our restaurant, we don’t offer a children’s menu or reduced price. High tea for children is available at 6pm (but please let us know the day before).
Settlement of Accounts
Accounts are payable on departure. We accept most major credit and debit cards (and cash of course!). We don’t accept cheques.
Cancellation Terms
We recognise that plans can change for all sorts of reasons, and are able to accept cancellations without charge up to 14 days before your booked arrival date (in which case we will refund any deposit paid).although your deposit is non-refundable). Should you cancel your booking between 7 and 14 days before arrival, your deposit is non-refundable but there are no further cancellation charges. If you cancel your booking within 7 days of arrival, the cancellation charge is 100% of the total value of the booking. With this in mind, we do suggest that guests take out suitable travel insurance.

In the exceptionally unlikely event that we should need to cancel your reservation for any reason, we will contact you as soon as possible, although our liability is limited to a refund of any payments received.
Differing cancellation terms may apply to special events and functions. Please ask us if you have any queries regarding the terms applying to your booking.
Data Protection
We respect your privacy, and your right to expect that all data held by us is accurate and up-to-date. All data is held securely, and is never released to third parties without explicit permission. We may contact you from time to time with news and offers from Mill End – if you’d rather we didn’t please e-mail us at info@millendhotel.com or call us on 01647-432282. It would help us to help you if you let us know of any changes to your contact details.
