Bovey Castle offers a challenging and beautiful 18-hole championship golf course, designed in 1926 by J F Abercromby, one of the finest British golf course designers of the century. When the course opened in 1930, it quickly gained national acclaim for its reputation as one of the most enjoyable places to play golf. Designed to rival its sister courses at Gleneagles and Turnberry, this course has been described as an experience of golf never to be forgotten, presenting the pure challenge of golf to professional and amateur alike. The course meanders through the Bovey Castle estate, surrounded by idyllic landscape and challenges to meet any handicap.

November to March – £39 per round

April to October – £59 per round

To take advantage of this special arrangement, please let us know your preferred date and time when you make your Mill End hotel reservation, or when you are here with us.  We will book a tee time on your behalf (subject to availability).

Course dress code:
Denim jeans, track suits, training shoes, collarless shirts, tee shirts and not allowed. Shirts must be tucked into trousers at all times, trousers will not be tucked into socks unless plus twos / plus fours are being worn and golf caps must not be worn back to front. In the summer if shorts are worn, they must be of a properly tailored style and worn with knee length or sports socks which must be predominantly white.
