Thursday 20th November – Friday 19th December 2025 | Cathedral Green, Exeter
Exeter Christmas Market is one of the biggest and best in Devon and is well worth a visit. You can find the market outside Exeter Cathedral from Thursday 20th November to Friday 19th December 2025.
Set against the backdrop of the cathedral, the market features over 100 festive chalets offering hand-crafted gifts, Christmas decorations and local West Country produce. As well as the fabulous market stalls, you’ll be able to find plenty of food and seasonal drinks to choose from, with global street food and themed bars to enjoy.

Exeter is about a 30-minute drive away from Mill End Hotel, making it a perfect place to visit for the day before returning for a delicious meal and a great night’s sleep while staying at our hotel.

5th – 7th December 2025 | Westpoint Arena, Clyst St Mary
For those who love a good browse, the Westpoint Christmas Shopping Fayre is a must-visit. With more than 250 exhibitors all under one roof, it’s a treasure trove of gifts, homeware, festive decorations, and delicious local food. Entrance costs £5 per adult, free for under 16s. There is a free Santa’s Grotto for families. Most of the stalls will be cash only, so plan accordingly!

27th November – 21st December 2025 | Armada Way & New George Street, Plymouth
Plymouth’s city centre comes alive each winter with its dazzling Christmas market. Rows of traditional wooden chalets line Armada Way and New George Street, selling handmade crafts, unique gifts, and gourmet food from across Devon and beyond. You’ll also find festive food and drinks, plus family fun with a traditional carousel and a vintage Helter Skelter.

Tuesdays 2nd, 9th and 16th December 3pm-9pm | High Street, Totnes
One of South Devon’s most loved festive events, the Totnes Christmas Market offers a magical mix of quirky stalls, local food producers, and live entertainment. Totnes’ independent shops stay open late, while street performers and choirs fill the town with music. It’s the perfect place to pick up unique gifts!
On Tuesday 16th December, the town will be aglow with beautiful lanterns for the spectacular Totnes Carnival Lantern Parade, which starts at The Rotherfold Square at 4.30pm.

In the heart of the South Hams, Kingsbridge’s annual Christmas event is a joyful day out for all ages. The streets fill with craft stalls, local food, and live entertainment. Children can visit Father Christmas at his grotto and receive a gift for free.
